Putin among top-level participants of 23rd World Energy Congress




Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, will visit Turkey to attend the 23rd World Energy Congress to be held in Istanbul between 9th and 13th October. This visit is critical as Turkey and Russia seek to make progress on the Turkish Stream project.

Commenting on the prospect of making solid progress on the project, Berat Albayrak, Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources, said, “My personal view is that we will cover a lot of ground for the Turkish Stream project next week.”
