Bosphorus Energy Club to hold side event on October 11




On October 11, Bosphorus Energy Club will hold a full day event alongside 23rd World Energy Congress, titled “Navigating through new transformation and turmoil in energy and geopolitics: What decisions and policy actions by business and government leaders?”.

The event will include keynote speeches from distinguished guests such as Turkish Energy Minister Berat Albayrak, European Commission Vice-President for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič, Gazprom Chairman Alexey Miller, Israeli Minister of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Yuval Steinitz, and Energy Charter Secretary-General Urban Rusnak.

Panel sessions throughout the day will include:

  • “Current Global Energy Dynamics for Decision-Makers,” with the participation of Tony Hayward, Ian MacDonald, Mohammed Al Thani, Tatiana Mitrova Adnan Amin, and Norbert Schwieters.
  • “Transforming Major Regions of the World Energy,” with the participation of Amin H. Nasser, Michael Ancram David Merkel, Julian Popov, and Mahmood Khaghani.
  • “New Opportunities in a Distressed World Energy Market,” with the participation of Mircea Geoana, Chris Cook, Michal Meidan, Karim El Aynaoui, and Jack Caravelli.
